Along with being one of the most widely-known and capable content management systems on the Web, WordPress has been used and trusted by Georgetown for almost a decade. Dozens of themes and customization options are available, so your site can be as simple or as unique as you’d like.

There are two ways to set up a WordPress blog at Georgetown. You can request a private course blog through the Commons. Another options is to visit Georgetown Domains or a web host of your choice to set up a WordPress blog for your own personal use.

WordPress sites can have either a static main page, or a main page that shows your most recent updates, so it works well as a personal website or a conversation-focused blog.
